Live music nights create an electric atmosphere, drawing in crowds eager to enjoy good tunes alongside their drinks. Madison Avenue Pub's selection of local craft beers consistently impresses. Friendly and attentive staff often receive rave reviews for their prompt service, even when the bar is busy. The overall vibe fosters a sense of community, making it a beloved place to unwind.
Most Disliked
On busier nights, especially during live music events, finding parking can be a challenge. Some patrons have experienced longer wait times during peak hours, particularly on Tuesday evenings. When the pub fills up, seating can become limited, which may require some guests to wait for a table. A few have mentioned that the noise level, while perfect for live music, can sometimes make conversation difficult, especially during karaoke nights. Additionally, while most menu items are delicious, not everyone is impressed by the authenticity of certain dishes like the Cuban sandwich, highlighting the pub's approach to comfort food over strict culinary tradition.

My girlfriend and I enjoy this place. Clean and friendly environment. When it has live music it's not overly loud. We love the half off burger nights!

We went to the Madison Avenue Pub to see a friend’s band play on a Tuesday night. The band was going to start playing at 7:00 and we got there at about 6:45. We parked on the street two blocks away because their parking lot was full, and when we walked in, it looked like every table was full too. The server was very busy, but when I asked her if any of the tables close to the band would be leaving soon, she took us right to a table that still had dishes on it and cleared it for us. It was a great table for watching the band! We had drinks and dinner. I ordered the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries. My friend wanted nachos for dinner, and they sounded like a good dish to share, so we ordered the large nachos to share between the four of us at the table. The server looked at us and said “you sure? It’s big!” But we ordered it anyway, only to find out she hadn’t been kidding. (We ended up splitting the leftover nachos into two takeout containers, each couple taking plenty home.) My friend and I split the Cuban sandwich. Maybe it wasn’t a totally authentic cubano, but it was still very good, and absolutely stuffed with meat, peppers, pickles, and Swiss cheese. My husband had the cheesesteak sandwich, and he enjoyed it. Our fourth companion enjoyed the pub burger, which is half off on Tuesdays. Verdict: tasty pub food, reasonable prices, live music, and very busy but helpful service. We’ll go back again!

Excellent 👍 Returning from the 2022 oyster run my friend Dan recommended Madison Avenue Pub. Great food, great service. Upbeat atmosphere, happy, friendly servers. The Ruben and pineapple burger was the bomb!

I ordered the Chicken fried steak with a choice of egg style and choice of toasts or biscuit. Large enough to split unless you are a big eater then enjoy every bite.

Great crowd, great service, great music. Parking lot gets full. But there is some street parking. Nice vibe always.
